Battle of Cooch Bihar_Chhimi P
Scope:
The period between 1705 C.E to 1907 C.E is marked by
the internal instability and external invasion. It was during
this period that Bhutan came across the British in India
and fought as many as eleven wars with them. The
aftermath of the war was the establishment of better
relations between the two countries, which development
into the long- term relationship between Bhutan and later
independent India.
