Integers helps on computing the efficiency in positive and negative numbers in almost every field . These negatives and positive values are building blocks of mathematics

• Develop understanding for need and meaning of integers
• Add and subtract integers using different strategies

Objectives

1. Define integers and absolute value
2. Add and subtract integers pictorially using counters and number line
3. Add and subtract integers symbolically using zero property.
