Energy Class VI _ Kezang Tshering PMSS

Energy:-

Energy, in physics, the capacity for doing work. It may exist in potentialkineticthermal, electrical, chemicalnuclear, or other various forms. There are, moreover, heat and work—i.e., energy in the process of transfer from one body to another. After it has been transferred, energy is always designated according to its nature. Hence, heat transferred may become thermal energy, while work done may manifest itself in the form of mechanical energy.

Scope:

After completing this course the child will be able to know what is energy and relate the concepts in our day to life.

Competencies:-

Examine potential energy and kinetic energy to assess its function in everyday life.

Objectives:-

i. Classify objects and events observed in the environment based on the form of energy, kinetic or potential, it manifests.

ii. Justify that energy of a closed system is conserved under all conditions.

Course duration:-

8 hours.
