Course overview and scope
People use different things in life. Most of the materials become useless after they have been used. Plastic, oil, kitchen waste, mobile phone, and smoke produced from vehicles and factories are some examples of waste. The materials which can no longer be used again for the same purpose are called waste. Two types of waste are degradable and non-degradable waste.
Therefore, it is important to promote 4Rs- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Refuse.
There is a rapid change in the environment due to various human activities. Therefore, it is important to conserve the environment for future. Protecting and saving the environment for future is called conservation of environment.

- Can express and write on how to reduce wastes
