To transform something is to change it. In geometry, there are specific ways to describe how a figure is changed. The transformations you will learn about include: Translation, Reflection and Rotation. Each sub topic shall be supported with definition, example and video clips.
Green plants_AshaRai
1. Water- is one of the raw material for photosynthesis. It also helps in translocation of food and transportation of minerals.
2. Light- light is one of the most important factor influencing plant's growth. Light energy is used in photosynthesis, the plants most basic metabolic process.
3. Warmth- growth of plants is more during day than night as the temperature is more. The plants also perform perform photosynthesis more effectively in light that's at higher temperature than low temperature.
4. Air- green plants take in carbondioxide from air and use it during photosynthesis. Oxygen is produced as a byproduct and small amount of it, is use for respiration to gain energy.

Child Trafficking
Ø Relocation of children for forced labor or sexual use is called child trafficking.
Ø Some causes of child trafficking are:
a. Poverty
b. Oppression
c. Lack of education
d. Lack of human rights for vulnerable group
e. Lack of social or economic opportunity
f. Lack of safe migration options
g. Social factors and cultural practices
h. Demand for cheap labor/sex
i. Conflict and natural disaster
j. Trafficking generates large profit
k. Traffickers
Ø Child trafficking is a serious social concern.
Ø It leads to development of mental and physical health problems.
Ø Some other causes are depriving education, spreading sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancies, depression, and substance abuse.
Ø To prevent child trafficking we need to form community group, developing rules and regulations, creating awareness through education.
Ø There are agencies working to prevent child trafficking in Bhutan. They are :
1. Royal Bhutan Police ( RBP )
2. Respect Educate Nurture Empower Woman ( RENEW )
3. National Commission for Women and Children ( NCWC )

A forest which is managed by a community is called a community forest. It has been introduced to control deforestation caused by human activities .

Course summary
Hazard refers to any event that may cause damage to living beings and human properties.
when hazard occurs and causes damage to life and property, it is called disaster.
There is two types of hazard and disaster and they are natural and human-made. Hazard and disaster caused by nature are called natural hazard and disaster. Eg: Earthquake and flood.
Human-made hazard and disaster are caused by human activities. Eg: road accidents and wars.
Fire
Fire is caused by both human and natural hazard and disaster for example lightening is natural and throwing cigarette butt is human activity.
Fire incidents causes air pollution, degradation of forest and loss of life. Some of the ways to reduce fire incidents are fitting electrical appliances and creating awareness on fire.
Earthquake
A sudden shaking of the earth is called Earthquake. Earthquake causes landslide, floods and destroys human properties. In Bhutan schools preform mock drill to prepare students during earthquake and after earthquake.
Road accidents
Road accidents are mainly caused by human activities but only sometimes caused by mechanical failures, weather conditions. While driving a diver should be under any substances abuse. a driver should not drink and drive.
